I am so glad I found this post! I too found the original speaker wiring tied up above the refrigerator. I pulled them out and have the enclosed pic that shows what I have...

So strip the blue (hot wire) and the white (ground) and just hook up to the back of the radio right? I am wanting to run a auxiliary sound chord from the tv to the radio so the tv sound will come through the radio to the speakers...?? No special adapter needed like putting in an after market radio in a vehicle?

Any advice and direction would be most appreciated!

The special wiring adapter like in a Car radio allows you to plug directly into the car’s existing harness connector. No you don’t need that here. However I’m not so sure how the actual radio is supported inside the cabinet.
