Default Trailer Dolly/Valet recommendations for yard

Hello,
We recently purchased a 2619 and would like to stage it in the backyard off and on between outings. Problem is we need to move it across roughly 100' of grass and slightly soft turf (in spots). Can anyone recommend or have experience with any of the powered (or non) trailer Dolly's on the market? TV or tractor is not an option. Hoa community with narrow navigation to backyard. Thanks!

Shannon -

Your best bet is to get on a computer and use the Forum's Search Tool on words like "dolly". There has been lots of discussion, including a number of different approaches for your issue. Most involve installing either gravel tracks, or blocks level with the ground. There are pictures of decorative square blocks with openings in them, and grass can come up through the openings to de-emphasize the tracks. This will keep the HOA happier.

Good luck

Bill

Hi Bill,
Thanks for the info. Funny enough, the pavers that the grass can grow through is exactly what we are now thinking about trying. I will do some digging in the forum as well
Thanks,
Shannon

Default ParkIt 360

Shannon:

I use a dolly from Park It 360. They are well made and have a lot of power that will move your rig anywhere. I have the model without a battery, I use the batteries on my TM for power, it works great. Rob

We also have Park-It 360 that we use as we have a tight alley behind our house and would not be able to maneuver into our space without it. We had a Trailer Dolly brand that I tried first that was hand cranked and had smaller wheels. It almost worked, but there is a slight incline from the alley into the parking space, and it wouldn't make it up that. I think Park-It makes larger wheels for the unit we have for use on softer ground and grass. We don't go nearly 100 feet, but it works like a charm for us.

Good lick and happy camping.

How about good luck instead!

By the way, I do have a battery in my Park-It, and use my portable solar panel to charge it whenever the sun cooperates. Other wise I use my plug in charger, but I try to avoid that.

And the only thing we've had with 2619 was the faucet, that previous owners left for us. Why the old one had a huge leak - I don't know till nowadays. But I know that my new one model made by Moen (from here: https://cozyhousetoday.com/best-moen...aucet-reviews/), is really a masterpiece. Just works as it should work. No leaks or any other problems, that I was facing with my old faucet.
