Default Replacement beds

Hi gang,

Just a quick question - I'm renovating an older (2007) Trailmanor 3023 that I bought for cheap and I need to replace the beds.

Will a 6-in thick bed fit in the trailer when it is collapsed down?

Thank you!

C

I presume you mean you need to replace the mattresses.

Between my factory mattress, a foam mattress topper, sheets, and a thin blanket, my overall mattress height is just shy of 6" (maybe 5-3/4" or 5-7/8"). Sometimes closing the shell can be a little snug, but I've never had a problem closing it. But 6" will be approaching the limit, or maybe even the limit, and that's without any bedding, mattress cover, etc.

You might get by on the front bed, but the back as ShrimpBurrito says will be a tight fit. Keep in mind the front shell sits on top of the back shell, so there's about an extra inch between the front mattress and shell. Have you considered a mattress topper, and stowing it before closing if you will be using the back bed?
