AC drips inside the camper

Hiya, I'd love some help trouble shooting this AC problem. We have a 2005 2720 Trail Manor. Our AC unit leaks and drips water inside the camper, all over the floor, when it has been running on a hot day. I recently did a full clean out of the drip trays and coils. Anything else I can try to keep the water from draining inside the camper?

TMs now have a drain hose that is attached to the air conditioner's drip tray drain, and routed over to the edge of the TM where the condensate is dumped over the edge. I know you have cleaned the drip tray, but I imagine that on your '05, there is no hose and the condensate is dumped directly onto the roof. Any imperfection in the seal under the air conditioner would route the water right back inside. Adding a similar hose would at least serve as a diagnostic aid.

tighten the AC unit down to the roof. Remove the inside trim and tighten the corners. might help.

I need to clean my coils and pan as well for this coming season. My unit is working intermittently in high heat, and then I have to reset the breaker for it to work again.

How do you guys get up there and work on roof without walking on it?

Sounds like your A/C may be freezing up. Clean or replace the inside filters. Only run the A/C on high fan. Use a "A/C coil cleaner" on the evaporator coils and the condenser coils on the roof. Be sure the condensate drain hole is clear and use Bill's suggestion to add a hose. It's also best to set up the trailer with the door side a little higher than the other side of the camper when setting up. That will guide the condensate water over the side.

Remove and service the inside with the roofs opened. Service the outside unit with the roof closed. You can reach most of what you need to do from a ladder next to the closed camper. If you need to go on the roof, get a couple of 60cm x 60cm pieces of plywood to lay on the roof. 2 pieces allow you to move around from one to the other.
