Interesting idea for running an AC unit

Talks about a line of inverters from a company called Victron that can run in parallel with a generator. When the load becomes too great for the generator to handle such as occurs when an AC compressor tries to start, this unit pulls power from the batteries.

Thanks. Interesting reading. The price list that I found on the site indicates 969 euros or $1200 usd or about the same price as another Honda EU2000i.

I put (hopefully) a better link up top.

It's made by a Dutch company and sold mostly in Europe from what I can tell. It's quite pricey but if the idea catches on it might come down.
