Default Extension cables w/different AWG sizes

Putting together a portable 200w system, but all the cables are 10AWG EXCEPT for the Renogy alligator clip cable, which is 14AWG. Can't find one with alligator clips that is 10AWG and 15-20ft long.

Is it safe to go from a heavier gauge to a lighter gauge wire? If not do I use a 10AWG and add alligator clips to it?

thx
Kathy

It's OK with only 200 watts. If you add more panels, it should change.
