Default Las Vegas recommendation

In a couple of weeks we're headed for Lake Havasu for a week, then on to Scottsdale for a week of baseball Spring Training. We thought we'd spend a couple of nights in Las Vegas on the way to Havasu. Any recommendations on RV parks in Vegas?

Looks like there are a bunch on Boulder Highway but that's a ways from the Strip and also not the best neighborhood, if I remember right. Our inclination is to stay at Oasis RV Park near the airport but we're open to ideas from those with local knowledge.

Look at the KOA at circus circus on the strip. It is worth the price. Great place and great location

Memories are dim, but there is a "Red something" area north or west of LV. Lots of red rocks that you drive through, so maybe that is the name of it. And there is camping there, though it may not qualify as an RV Park as you requested.

Maybe this?

But maybe not. Seems to me there was something a bit more civilized, though not necessarily an RV Park. Spend a bit of time with Google - I'm sure there is something there.

Thanks, Bill & Bell.

For this part of the trip, we do need more elements of civilization than Red Rocks provides. I'll check out Circus Circus.
