Default Lavender Farm (HarvestHosts)

We belong to HarvestHosts and get to stay on wineries, farms, golf courses, etc, for free, although it's expected you buy something.

I sold the idea of camping to my wife with the idea of staying on a lavender farm. We finally got there, although the lavender had already been harvested and was over. But we made it. It is at the northern tip of the Olympic peninsula in Washington. It is a beautiful place.

That’s an interesting program.
I’ll have to save the link for when we get more time.

Larry; If you have time and you like ocean scenery, go to Foley point on Cape Flattery. it's about 90 miles west of your location. You can drive to within about a mile from the site.

I'll keep that in mind. We do wish to do the western tour of the peninsula in a couple of years.

However, while I can easily find Cape Flattery, I cannot find anything in my searches for Foley Point.

Looks like they don't call it Foley Point any more. - Cape flattery trail must be the new name

They just call it "the point" now;

Found my pics of the point and none say Foley - oh well, great place anyway.
