Default Replacement Door Locks

I need to replace my TM door locks because the top and bottom locks are not keyed alike.

I tried a Kwikset and Schulage and neither brand will be a direct replacement.

Does anyone know what brand of door locks are used on the TM?

No I don't know who the manufacturer is, but when we got our (used) TM, it came without any keys. We took the doorknob off and took it to a locksmith, who re-keyed it for us and made us new keys. I think it only cost about $25.

Camper One,

Our locks are not Kwikset, but they use a Kwikset key-way and they are both use the same key.

So, I agree with MariaG, just have one lock re-keyed so they both match. We do it at the Hardware Store for $7...

Thanks,

I am also considering adding a dead bolt to the upper door.

The closest match I found so far was a US Lock set from Walmart and it came with two deadbolts and two keyed knobs in one package for 29 bucks.

I will try to install it and will let you know.

I am also looking for the link to the top door deadbolt instructions but I have not found it yet.

Default deadbolt

I purchased a deadbolt from TM when I was up for service and noticed the newer TM's have this feature. Sometimes I camp alone and sleep with my auto keyfob with the alarm near my bed. The deadbolt makes me feel a little more safe, although I've never been scared.

Default Locks

I replaced both of my locks keyed alike with Schlage. I used the "F" series
