I have always run the tire pressure in my 2720 at the max (is it 50 or 55?) and I don't have problems with bouncing stuff around. But, the only stuff on the floor is the kitchen cabinet, microwave drawer and some outdoor chairs and tables and two travasaks.

I keep an eye on the TM from time to time in the center rear view mirror and have never noticed exceptional or hard bouncing.

I think I will continue to run my tire pressure at the limit marked on the sidewall.

I keep mine at 50psi as well and was happy to find that Goodyear says I'm tire-safe up to 75mph at that pressure. Given the choice, we usually roll along in the 62-65mph range but there are times when we are negotiating the interstates around cities (like that maze getting through San Antonio) that we step it up and move with the traffic in order to change lanes if necessary. El Paso is the only city I can think of where we can get in the middle lane on one side of town and drive all the way through without changing.
