Default Entrance Door Problem

Hi,

For you new TM owners and old timers, here is how I solved my entrance door problem last year. I had to move the jam bracket over 1/8 of an inch as shown in the picture. The top was not the same as the bottom. (in the picture on the left of the jam) I guess it came from the factory like that?

The door never closed properly, I tried all kind of tricks from this forum, but I remove 5 screws and moved the top over just a little.

This might not be your problem, but it sure solved my door problem, I blow on the door now and it shuts just perfect...

Hope this helps, Happy camping this season. PLEASE BE SAFE, AND HAVE FUN

Dave

Dave,
Which way did you move the jamb? To the inside of the trailer? Or was a top to bottom misalignment?

I moved the top over towards the street side so it was the same as the bottom. How I ever notice that is beyond me. The door catches very nice now without pushing & pulling.
