Default tires and tpms setting

a couple of questions

if you are using a tire with a higher rating or size etc, does anyone exceed the 50Lb listed on the side of trailer

also if you are using a tpms sensor what do you set at high and low alarm for psi

if temp what do you set at high

i bought a carchet they screw on the valve stems but i think it is going back , having a tough time, the sensors don't seem to be programmed properly, and the manual is not very clear ,,anyone have a tpms reccomendation? also if you you a signal extender is there a "hot" 12v wire in a convenient external location on the tm.

I bought the InnoTechRV tpms. Great customer service. All seem to work well for 2 years. temps seem a little off.

The last trip out last year. Late October my pressures were down by about 3-4 psi. I figure I was okay since I was still 4 over the min for my weight from the GY trie chart. Day cooled down and about 2 hours into the trip tires started sending low psi alarms. The tires lost 2 psi while traveling from the 20 degree drop in outside temps while traveling. Turn off the monitor until I could air up.

I set the psi alarms to +- 5 psi from by desired psi.

I run my tires at 57 psi. My goodyear marathons have a chart for weight psi on the web site. GY had a service bulletin that said to inflate +10 psi if driving over 70 mph. Most of the time we are 65, but once in awhile we are over 70, so I add 7 psi.

50 psi is for LRC tires. I have LRD and run 65 psi & alarm at 58.
