Default Radio install

I've seen standard car stereos installed (factory?) In a couple of other Tms I've seen. I would like to do the same to mine. I plan on getting the 12v feed off the power converter box. .
Can the antenna be tied in to the existing TV antenna? Or would I have to run a 2nd antenna just for the radio? What's everybody doing for speakers.... size, mount locations etc?
Are you guys doing just the radio? Adding amps/EQs?
If I'm gonna add a radio I would also like to get Sirius, as though I typically camp in the same places I have difficulty finding my kind of music when I'm in these areas...
(In case anyone is asking, I listen to classic rewind, mostly, sometimes classic rewind, bridge pop, "deep tracks" the 60s and the 70s channels, amm classic rock based).

Oh yeah I need to upgrade my TV antenna anyway, radio or no radio. Is there one I can tie in a car stereo type radio with?

Depending on what year your TM is, the wiring might already be there above the fridge. As for tying the radio antenna into the tv antenna, check this out…

What year is your TM? I think most of what you need was installed as standard, even if you didn't buy the radio option.

The 12-volt feed should already be in place above the refrig. Similarly, the antenna feed should be there, assuming have the little black horizontal bar antenna on the back edge of the front shell. The speaker wiring from the radio area to the cubby near the ends of the front overhead storage area should be there, even if the speakers are not installed.

Be sure you know what you have before you start cutting and drilling and running wires.

Mines a 97, 3023.
So far all I have is an (approx) 3-5 year old Kenwood single DIN car stereo. It came out of a vehicle I used to have, that I put the stock radio back into upon selling.
Don't yet have speakers, I know I need to replace my TV antenna regardless of if I add a stereo or not. I'll have to look and see if the wiring is in place in the sink cabinet around the fridge then. That would save me a little bit of work.

I was thinking about putting speakers in the lower shell, possibly on the front side of the sink base, near the power converter, in the little cabinet between the 2 mini lazy boy chairs and 1 more probably near the stove cabinet.
Just scoping things out at present.
I will be putting it up tomorrow afternoon in my driveway , once I get back from the tractor show anyway. I'll have to look for that wiring. I'm looking at a replacement newer jack antenna for TV purposes anyway. Someone has one on CL for what seems a screaming deal. My original antenna is trashed.

If your 1997 has the glass fronted cabinet above the bed like my 2000 does, it’s probably not wired for sound.

It does have 2 wood framed glass doors in front. With a clock (that never worked) in between.
I'll be setting it up in a little while, I'm gonna look and see if it is/isn't.

You can get the guts for that clock from Michael’s or Hobby Lobby or Amazon…

Ok I pulled the louvers off the back of the fridge ( the ones on the outside wall) to check for nests, dust buildup on the fridge, etc and there is a Blue wire and a white, about 14ga individually capped off by wire nuts but no antenna cable or speaker wires ... need to check and see if there's 12v which I would assume would be blue +and white -.....
