Default mattress topper

Greetings, we just bought a new 2020, 2720qb and would like to know what is the thickest mattress topper we can add to the standard mattress that will be present in the unit and not hamper the closing of the 2720qb.
Does anyone know ? Thank You...

It depends a bit on how the shell is positioned on the lift arms (higher or lower), but most folks here report room for a 1-inch to 1-1/2 inch foam topper.

+2 on the 1 to 1.5 inch. We did 2" memory foam topper on our last TM and had to push down on the two rear corners and compress the foam to latch the two rear latches. Not a big deal. Current TM we bought a new memory foam 5" mattress.

Bill- Wouldn’t higher or lower on the lift arms when open (lift arms vertical) translate to the shells sitting further forward or back when closed (lift arms horizontal)?

Shane -

You are exactly right. I've got my horiz and vert confused. Thanks for straightening me out.

Default RV Superbag

We use an RVSuperbag and a 2" foam topper underneath (both king size). However, because we have the RVSuperbag, we fold the bag and topper in half separately for travel and store them over the couch in the front of the TM so we don't put strain on the TM when it's closed. It takes a couple of minutes to move them each time, but we don't have to struggle with loose sheets and covers to make the bed. We also popped for the 750 thread count sheets on the RVSuperbag, and my DW loves the feel of them.

Chek the bags out at: https://www.rvsuperbag.com

Good sleeping!

Bill- No problem. Just wanted to make sure I understood the geometry correctly!
