Default Wheel Well Retrofit

I decided to have fun this past weekend and do the Wheel Well Retrofit.

I would just like to say thank you to Joe and Hal for such excellent instruction. It truly make the task much easier.

You can see photos of the retrofit on my webpage at:

click on "TM Modification" then click on "Wheel Well Modification".

Here is a picture of the finished product.

Default Re: Wheel Well Retrofit

I plan on doing the retrofit this weekend, after I repair the wheel well damage from a blowout. It tore clear through into the cabinet space under the oven. All this on my way home from where I purchased it. Just to add to the problem, the previous owners put the jack and lug wrench inside the trailer. It's a little difficult to raise up the trailer on the side of I-5 with 2 feet between you and the 18 wheelers going 75 mph! Thank goodness for AAA. Two hours later and I was on my way home. BTW...I now have 3 brand new 8 ply tires! :-[
