Readability -   Excellent
Ruggedness - Excellent

I don't know how much the info is worth but I thought it was worth posting.  I am going to So. Padre Island this Thursday for the weekend and I am going to check out the three brands and get opinions if I can find the guages.

Just picked up a 4020 at Target.
Immediately checked the tire pressure on my car with it and with my $1.98 model. Only 1 pound difference at 35 PSI. If they are that close, which one is correct

With only two gages, you'll never know; unless one of them was recently certified.  The 4020 is probably more correct.

Try them at 50 psi too...

IMHO 1lb is essentially equal.  (A difference of 5 psi is significant).

I work a lot in the field of environmental "testing" and have developed a real appreciation for accuracy and precision.

I use one of those analog oil filled units with the brass hardware I bought from Camping world.

Have checked it against several of the old style pop up gages and it's accurate. Does the job. Man I thought that was high tech!!
