Default Z Hangers

The hanging method you are using is available from Hangman products and is called the Z-hanger. There are also other products commonly called mirror hangers that work on the same principal and are generally available from Home Depot for a few dollars.

Thanks for the kind words, Malinda. Ours still serves us well, and for us, it hangs the TV in a place that is better than the bathroom wall, which is obscured by the hanging cabinet. As has been mentioned, there are a number of solutions available now that didn't seem to be around then - and besides, as an old friend of mine used to say "A really good project is one that requires you to buy a new tool!"

Love it! It's a great tool and we have already thought of several other things to use it for!

Here is our TV I mounted, it on a board and I matched the color with hobby paint from Wal-Mart (cinnamon color #2558, it is perfect for touch up too). Then we just slip it off and put the TV and the board both attached in the wardrobe when we pack up, I bent brackets to the shape of an (L) and it hangs just perfect.. The other picture is our new La-Z-Boy the back comes off for travel we just love this chair. The wife is so happy.

Dave,

The chair looks like original equipment...Very closely matched.

Default TV brackets

I'm wondering if anyone has tried to put hangers like those used on the over the sink cabinet on the closet wall and hanging the TV from there? I don't know if there is enough room for the bed to slide over the brackets, but the brackets aren't very thick ,so I don't think this would be a problem. Any thoughts?

Default Tv mount

I've decided that since the tv cable connecter is by the refrigerator I'd be better served to mount my tv from the cabinet over the sink. Here is the mount I made to mount it.

I've been using a 26" in the TM and feel it is a little big/heavy to hang using anything conventional so I just carry in the TV. Been thinking about a 28 or 32 with 1080 and replacing the radio with something that has BT and an aux input plus a way to hook up the Sennheisers.

The radio I just got in my new TM has BT and aux input.
