I tow my 2720SL with our 2004 Pilot which is similar in towing capabilities. We live in CT and have towed the Adirondack, Green, White, and Appalachian mountains with relative ease. We tow with all but the propane tanks empty and front load what we can inside the TM. I use a WD hitch with 700# round bars to level the Pilot.

We have towed with two bikes hanging off the TM's back bumper hitch and did experience some sway problems which seemed to be less of a problem once I recognized I needed to move some weight forward in the TM.

Hope this helps!
