hi,

sorry to intrude on your thread.
but i see you have a Honda Ridgeline. I am thinking of buying a trailmanor and would love to buy a Ridgeline and use it to tow. Are you using a weight distributing hitch and any problems towing. thanks

Hi Gerrym51,
I have a 2008 Ridgeline and tow a 2010 TM-2720SD without a WDH and have had no trouble at all. May go up to a 3124 later in life, not sure at this point need to do more checking. Ridgeline is a great truck just wish it had a little higher tow rate

Default Ridgeline

We have 2010 Ridgeline RTL and tow a 2004 2720SL with a WDH. Have taken it coast to coast and back with no problems. Cruises easily in the wide open spaces and is not bothered by 18 wheelers. Could use a bit more power in the mountains but is adequate as long as you re not overloaded. Truck is very comfortable and a joy to drive.

A good mate for Trailmanor

Kayak areas close to Huntington Beach include both Huntington Harbor in HB and Back Bay and Balboa in Newport. These areas all have wonderful holiday lights should you be here then. They are very close to the beach camping areas.

I just saw this. We have a 3023 that we tow with our 2011 RTL and we really love it. I was by myself and I was even able to pull it over Independence Pass here in Colorado 12,100'! Albeit very slowly...

We use a WDH, but I don't use sway bars, never felt the need. It has been a geat truck and pulled the trailmanor without any problems, but I do wish we had more of a margin of power. We purchased the trailmanor after the truck (one of the biggest reasons we went with a TM)

Default What Brake Controller Are Honda Ridgeline TV Owners Using?

I Just bought a 2011 Honda Ridgeline to replace my 2006 Toyota Highlander to haul my 2004 2027 SL. I had a Tekonsha Prodigy and liked the way it functioned. What are you Honda Ridgeline owners using for controllers. The Owners manual doesn't recommend that WDH hitches be used. What are y'all doin ?

I'm pulling my 2011 TM 2720SL with a 2010 Ridgeline. I'm using the Tekonsha P2 controller, without any problems. Go on the Ridgeline forum for step-by-step instructions on how to hook it up to the vehicle. Living in Florida we did discover that when towing in 90° plus weather after 3-4 hours of towing the computer was diverting power from the AC blower to the engine! The last 2 hours were toasty....
