all i could so was shake my head ,
and mutter something like, no darn way,,, i guess it could be true, but sure not for this ole boy, if one of the things i have learned here, it is safety in towing, and that does not look like it.

YIKES! I wouldn't even want that setup near me when I'm on the road.

BTW-Saw a little 8' popup being towed down the freeway the other day (I believe by a minivan, they went past so fast it was hard to tell LOL) anyhow, the sway was so bad I kept expecting to see them in a bad way further up the road. Even 1000 lbs beings whipped side to said could be hard to handle IMO

Wonder what his insurance company would think about that?
Where there's a will there's a way I guess, reading his post, it sounds like he has convinced himself that it's the way to go..

Seeing guys towing big ones with little ones always reminds me of this:

Here is a post about towing with a motorcycle. I put this up last year:

It seems too hard to do, but the guy says he's inside the GVWR and GAWRs. With trailer brakes working great, the trailer has pretty good stopping power. My biggest concern would be that some day, with trailer brakes disconnected or poorly adjusted on a downhill stretch, braking capacity of the TV alone would be a problem. And it's way too easy to have trailer brakes not working properly due to connection, weather, and adjustment issues. Maybe it doesn't rain in his part of Canada. He's also testing the limits of his warranty besides testing the limits of his tow vehicle. Towing an Airstream with a Sienna seems like more adventure than I would want to do on purpose.

However, I was glad to hear the guy's Toyota power train endorsement. If he can tow 7000# for 6000 miles with a Sienna, I should be able to tow a TM almost forever.
