Doesn't sound like your yard is big enough to need a riding mower, so this might be a more practical option

For $1300 it should mow and pick up the mail also. Nice idea.

No, not that. Look at the trailer dolly model# TMD 1000. Has good rating. No it won't mow your yard, but for the cost difference you can buy a really nice mower.

How about modifying a Gorilla Carts 1200 lb seen in homedepot? As long as you are only pulling.
May add a 1000 Lb Trailer Jack w/ Wheel just in case.

I have a similar issue trying to solve and have been learning form this great site for a while.

Cruiser -

Link works for me. This looks like the same 600-pound dolly that Harbor Freight sells, occasionally on sale for a good price. I have one for my boat trailer tongue (weight unknown), but I really don't like it very much. If you do a Search on "dolly" or maybe "Harbor Freight", you'l find quite a bit of discussion.

I used to move my Coleman Bayside with my John Deere X300 tractor. I have a trailer hitch attached to the back. The Bayside would almost lift the front tires off the ground, so I haven't tried the Trailmanor with it's heavier tongue weight. However, modifying a gorilla cart with a hitch added might just do the trick. At least for short distances to set up etc, and then I wouldn't have to move the pick up to the yard for that. There are sure a lot of creative folks on this forum!

I can't believe this thread is still alive! Cruiser, I bought a Trailer Valet that I used on my 3023 til I sold it. I still have the Valet and it is advertised in the for sale section. It worked great on my blacktop.

By the way I tried about 5 different ways to use the tractor, none of them worked so I gave up, sold it and bought the Valet.
