2720 spare wheel/tire

Hi Guys:
I have a 2001 2720SL. A friend gave me a new spare tire and wheel for it. Where does is mount? I know the factory says it's standard equipment on most models. Can it mount underneath someway? I have a 3 bike rack mounted on the rear bumper. Works great. Just did 1500 miles in NC,Ga mountains last 10 days and had no problems with sway.

In 2001, I believe they were still mounted on a carrier on the back bumper. I'll see if I can dig up a pic - or someone else may have one handy.

I believe that it was 2002-2003 time frame when the mount was moved underneath on a special rack. Although you can buy the rack from TM, I'm not sure it will fit a 2001. Seems to me TM had to change some dimension of the frame.
