Default Mud Dobbers/furnace exhaust

We have a lot of Mud Dobbers (non-stinging Black Wasps) in South Alabama, and they will build THERE LITTLE MUD HUTS anywhere they have an opportuniy to. To Solve this problem, get a large piece of Scotch brite or similar material, trim to slightly oversize of the heater vent and just push in the opening, it will keep spiders, mud dobbers and probably even bees and real wasps from building in there. I could not find big piece of scotch bright so I went to the Dollar Store and bought a package of the scotch brite type scouring pads for $1.00 which are the exact width needed, glued three of them together end to end with poly seam seal and just trimmed to length, works like a charm and if you forget it the exhaust wil even blow it out when the furnace starts up. BUT LETS NOT FORGET TO DOUBLE CHECK, OK!!! ;D
