Default Tires and Axels

Need new tires. My 2003 2720 SL has 2002 tires on it. Just bought it so its not my fault. Am planning on going to 15" tires and rims. Thinking of the new endurance tires from Good Year. Will be taking long trips, boon docking, so think I should put a lift on. I am mechanical so should be able to do it myself. Is there a place to order the lift kit? What size axel was on this year and model 2720? I can look again but I think the number on the axel is wore off.

Are a lot of opinions. Should be a label on the axle but most likely it is a Dexter 3500 lb rated with 5x4.5" wheels.

Should only look at 15x6" wheels, 15x5s usually have a load rating under 2000 lbs.

Have a lift kit for mine but never installed- very slight occasional rub only on street side with 205x75R15 LRD tires. Just make sure that whatever tire you get has a nylon cap or overlay.

Default New Tires

My new 15" tires and wheels arrived. Lift kit is on. Suppose to get 2-3 inches of rain, so will keep my TM in the garage until Monday. Bought the endurance GoodYear tire for my 2720 SL 2003. Load D rating. Getting ready for our first long trip. Heading to MT first of June. Looking at dispersed camping. This forum has been a great help. Just wished I had been a member before I bought my TM. Oh, well. ALSO have a new TV. A 2014 Yukon. Will have no problems with the mountains on this trip.

Default TM "uped" and updated

New Endurance tires on, brakes checked, bearings greased, new brake controller installed on TV and hooked up. My TM is now "up" higher and ready to roll. 4 weeks and then to Montana. Home country for me.

What brand wheel did you get Casey? I see a ton of "brandless" painted rims out there.

So far, the only one I'm finding that has a decent brand label is Dexstar:

JG seems to be a Chinese company, so I'm not too keen on those.
