Default Weight Disty Hitch Question

I have a Reese WDH on order that will come in soon but I have a question regarding the times when there is a sizable angle when the trailer is going uphill. When I need to back my TrailManor into my driveway, the driveway apron is at a pretty good incline compared to the street.

Wouldn't that angle cause a lot of stress on the WDH and the frame area where the chains are?

Exclamation Wdh

IIRC, most WDH systems (excluding Hensley Arrow and ProPride) recommend disconnecting your WDH bars before reversing.

Yep there is much more weight applied when there is an upward angle. Also weight is greatly reduced when you top a hill and the is a downward angle.

I never did anything special, nor have the instructions of any of my wdh's instructed me to do so.
