Default Thread has been split

This thread began as a discussion of OwenTrail's problem with a furnace that didn't light. At some point, it morphed into a discussion of Rob Culver's somewhat similar problem. Both were legitimate requests for help, but the somewhat different situations led to a very long and confused discussion that got hard to follow. To remedy this, I separated OwenTrail's request (still right here) from Rob's request, which is now located at
