Default Side Shell Gap

There is a about a 2 inch gap between the curbside front and rear shells when closed and about a half inch gap between them when opened. Any thoughts on how I can eliminate said gap? There is no gap on the driver side.

You ever figure this out? Mine does the same thing. I have also noticed when the body of the camper is perfectly level and the shells when opened leans towards that passenger side. I bet the shells need adjusting somehow or another. I was actually surfing for that adjustment post when I found yours. That lean is also causing an issue with my door.

MAYBE the shell heights are out of whack? You can level the shell height by adjusting the lift arms on the torsion bars. If the 4 arms aren’t adjusttled to the same height it causes the shells to flex and do odd things.

But my suspicion is you may have one or more bent torsion bars...
