Default Freshwater holding tank

Perhaps a dumb question...?

How do you completely empty the freshwater holding tank? Drained the tank and there is still about an inch in the bottom of the tank. Is there some sort of magic spell that gets rid of it? Lol

Also where does one get one of those drains on the bottom of the Trailmanors? One of them on my unit is acting up. Are the simple to replace?

Last question:
What's the best way to fill the tank if you don't have a hose and boondocking? Are you pumping it in?

I installed an access port on my tank. I had to clean out the plastic shavings, I did my best, but I still needed to pitch the tank to get the last amount of water and shavings. I ended up pulling off the center wood beam to enable me to pitch it. As you can see the beam sits in a bracket and then they used some staples to keep the other end attached to the frame. I added a n extra support since I did compromise the original setup.
It would really help a lot if when asking some questions you post pictures, so the folks here know what your dealing with.

Thanks I did install one of those... my question is how do you completely empty that tank out. Seems like about an inch remains behind.

The tank won't empty completely, unless you vacuum or mop up the old water out, or tip the tank up towards the drain. I'm not sure what more to tell you. Yes, they didn't place a hole at the bottom, because I believe it would have weakened the tank.

That's what I was afraid you were going to say. Lol. I can however tell you there is absolutely no reason the factory could not do a drain anywhere on the bottom of that tank. These tanks are molded in one pour with a welded seam... the only reason the factory didn't do a drain is to avoid drilling through the floor of the TM or itw an oversight. Oh well. Time to get my wet dry out and get that water out of the tank. Yikes!

Any advice on the valve under this tank? Where could I get a replacement?

coralcruze- I’m starting to think you should start an RV company. The fit & finish, quality control, durability, and lifetime warranty would all be absolutely amazing.

Welp, I think it's time for me to drill the bottom of this tank so it could drain properly and not leave standing water behind and correct this issue.
