Default Installing new speakers in a 2004 TM 2720SL

Ok, upgrading the speakers.

Anyone know how to remove these?

I haven't tried to pry the grills off, that's my next step.

Anyone else here ever have these speakers out?

How do I remove them?

Thanks!

They are like car speakers. The grills should just twist off... Righty Tighty Lefty loosy... Then there will be screws to remove the speakers from their housing.

The grill covers should just pop off. Screws through the thin panel hold the speakers in. I replaced mine with better coaxial speakers which made an improvement. The best improvement though was to caulk the joints inside the speaker "cabinet" to plug up the leaks and to line the insides with dampening material before installing the new speakers. Sound's great now.

Oh, and my trailer didn't have a radio, so I bought a Bluetooth Power Amplifier (Amazon) and installed it in the radio slot over the fridge. Now I can play music from my phone through the speakers.

Sure... Search Amazon for ASIN: ‎ B08BJZHXWY . This exact unit isn't available anymore, but the item comes up and will give you an idea of what to search for that is available. There's a bunch of these high power, compact Bluetooth PA's available there. I paid about $30 over year ago, so who knows the cost now with Bidenflation. Oops, did I say that out loud? Amazon avoids divulging country of origin ($%&*#), but based on the description you can tell it's from China. I rate this one as good quality. Loud and clear enough to annoy camp neighbors, but I wouldn't recommend that.

Off my soap box... I also ordered a chunk of smoked acrylic material and cut a piece to cover the radio opening over the fridge. Drilled 3 holes for the volume, bass & treble potentiometers and secured the assembly to the panel over the refrigerator with Velcro strips. Better than expected results.

Nice. Having decent power isn’t just for being loud but helps with clarity as well. I’ll look into it.
