I have a 2011 Ridgeline. I use a Prodigy P3 brake controller. I found it easier to adjust than the P2. The digital readout lets you know the exact setting rather than the light going from different shades of colors.

I do not use a WDH, but and have not had any problems with sway. The rear bumper drops a little less than 2 inches when we are loaded with the trailer hitched. I am still considering purchasing a WDH. There are others on this forum who do use a WDH with good results. The fact that Honda does not recommend using one makes me hesitate. I have searched the Ridgeline forums and have not found find out why. The fact that it is Front wheel drive might have something to do with it, or same say the unibody frame could be a factor.

I really like my Ridgeline and think it is good match for towing our Trailmanor. I am a little disappointed with the gas mileage. We tow with 2 kayaks on top and I get between 14 and 15 MPG. I was hoping for 15+.

No, not yet at least. So far we've done fine with a sway bar.
