Default Flat Screen Wall Mount Guide

As alot of members on here I wanted to add a flat screen to my TM for those rainy boring nights. With alot of reading on the forum and talking with members I decided to give it a shot. I figured i would take lots of pics hopfullly to help others that wish to attempt it. I went with Jim's (Muddogs) method and used the same mount he did (if it works why fix it) He also gave me a ton of info/moral support via PM's before I attempted this. (thanks again Jim! )
His original post can be found here

He are the mounts right out of the box:

Here are the 2 main componets, you can see the "hook" looking thing on the part that mounts to the wall. That is for cord managment that Muddog and I opted to cut off. (mcgyver210 tryed tryed it without cutting it off and he states it a bit close for comfort as far as clearance goes)

Here are the well nuts from Lowes - The kit comes with M6 x 1.0 screws so thats what I bought.

I used a center punch on my mark to ensure the hole would be were I ment for it to be:

Im a bit of a chicken when it comes to drilling holes in the wall so I started out with a 1/4" bit and walked it up to 1/2" using every other bit in my index. Im sure it was overkill but its not like it really to any longer.

Here is the first hole after walking it up to 1/2". Somthing to note when drilling into the walls that are covered with wallpaper. You go thru a thin piece of masonite (wood) before you start drilling into the aluminium. I tryed to show whats inside the walls with this pic.

Both holes done with well nuts installed

Here are the holes in the bed area. One with the wellnut installed and one without. Note there is no Masonite to drill thru.

I also installed a Radio that has a screen on the front of it and plays DVD's. This unit has video outputs so I can watch them on the newly installed TV.

Here is power central: The plate on the right are the video outputs on the DVD player

Other stuff:
All these pictues can be found in the link below. They can all be made larger then they are shown here:

The Radio was only $120 on ebay - Its made fby Xtrons the link below should work for a while. One nice thing about it is its also bluetooth, so you can pair you Ipod,Android, etc up to it and play music thru the stereo wirelessly. I havent been camping with this setup yet so i havent been able to play with it much.

I went with a hanging bracket over the bathroom wall but I would have tried this if it was available a few weeks back. Excellent guide. One thing - in the bedroom - do you have a power outlet in there? I only have one in the bathroom and the one on the fridge cabinet. I may consider another install!

I don't have a outlet - im sure i could put one of the rear wall next to the storage area , but i don't think its worth the effort. I will mostly likely run a extension cord to either the plug in the bathroom or the one next to the stove.

I In ours I run the coax hidden behind the sofa then under the bed over to the wall. I get the electric from the outlet in front of the other sofa.

Now since you don't have a sofa you could hide it under the wall flap easily.

P.S. I also used 90 degree coax fittings to keep the coax closer to wall.
