Default D.O.T. Tire Plant Codes

I recently came across this link for determining, by D.O.T. code, where tires were manufactured: D.O.T. Tire Plant Codes

Never realized there were so many tire manufacturing sites...

If anyone would like a printed copy of all the DOT factory codes, you can get it from the link below, which is where all of us tire dealers do. The book actually has a lot more information in it than the web link, including addresses, phone numbers, etc. It also lists tires by brand names, and tells you who owns them, since a lot of tires aren't actually manufactured by the company who owns them (ie farmed out)

We keep a copy of this near our front computer at all times, to answer questions on who/where a particular tire was produced.
