My mom would like to go camping with us, I noticed she will have trouble getting in and out of th TM, any suggestions, possibly something for her to hold on to when going in and out, i have the lift kit on mine.

We use an old Coca Cola case that we covered with astro turf. We painted the front of the step treads a relective yellow. We use the coke case to corral other stuff when we take off. I banged my shins one too many times getting back in after dark. Don't like leaving a lot of lights on when we are boondocking. Firelight or a candle on the table or even bright moonlight catches that relective paint. Be safe. Olga and Ken, Northwoods.

My wife is disabled and has a hard time getting in and out of the TM. I bought a "porch" from Camping World that works well. Here is the link (I hope it comes through ok):

The handle comes off (I replaced the nuts with wing nuts) and it slides right in the back of my Expedition. Yes, it's bulky, but it's worth it's weight for her to be able to get in and out easily.

We also had an issue with getting in and out of the entry door (my mother is getting up there in years). We had our dealer add a little white handle (I believe it was the same on that comes on the bed) just to the left of the entry door. Wish it was alittle bigger, but it works out good.
