Default Toyota Sienna

I am a potential purchaser of a TraildManor. We want to pull this with our 2004 Sienna which has a Toyota specified tow rating of 3,500#. I would appreciate communicating with anyone who has experience with this combination. Please feel free to contact me on or off list. Thanks.

Default It didn't work for me.

I had a 2005 Sienna, and tried to tow a 3023, but was not happy with it. I live in Tehachapi CA, at 4200 Ft. When towing at sea level, it worked fine. However, any incline and the car had to be shifted into 3rd gear until we started going downhill again. If you do not expect go into any foothills or mountains, you might be fine.

Just one word of caution -- look at the length of wheelbases as well as towing (weight) capacity. Always plan for the emergency rather than just the straight road without traffic towing . You will find lots of great advice in this forum. Queeniereads aka Judi
