Our XM is connected to the "car type" AM/FM/CD radio in the TM via some wires that come standard with the XM. I did not have a need for an amplifier. Just tune the radio to the appropriate XM frequency and it plays nicely through the TM speakers.

I use the same XM tuner in the truck. The whole XM cradle is portable. In the TM I mount it on the side of the fridge and run the antenna wire out the nearest velcro flat. I've always parked it on the roof without any need for magnets, since it's only in used when the TM is stationary. When I'm ready to go i take the antenna off and use it on the truck.

Default Sattellite Radio

We have a Serius Radio which I move from my truck to our TM at a campsite.
I plug the receiver into the 12 volt plug in the TM by the Fridge and place its antenna on the roof of the TM. The TM's radio picks up the signals with no problem. I even have a Sony battery powered radio which I bring outside the TM when we sit outside and still get Serius Radio signals.
