Smile Enjoy the ride

Y'all are missing the whole idea...get rid of any timing device or clock.

Enjoy the ride.

I would do that but the hole they put in to place the clock looks like I did it.

That's the one we got! Works quite well. I put the exterior temp sensor below our bed, so it is in the shade. Tacked it to a 1x2, which I push one end of between the bed and storage wall. Seems to be accurate readings.

I got a sensor as well and out the mount on my gas tank cover so it does not get direct rain, sun etc. I remove it when I hit the road as I don't trust the mount and don't want to fix it permanently. My too makes predictions but they seem to be pretty much what the weather is doing outside. Fun to have though.

Does anyone have any problem receiving a signal from the wireless transmitter through the aluminum body of the TM?

No but my clock is above the front sofa and the sensor is under the front window cover (protected when on the road).

Anyone notice this thread is from 2002 ?

Oh, I noticed that this post was old. But, I thought that others were talking about digital clocks with temperature senders, I thought it was an appropriate place to ask the question.

Absolutely appropriate to ask your question in this old thread.

To answer your question, my clock is above the front window, and my sensor is under the bed in the rear of the trailer. I have no problems getting a signal from the sensor to the clock. Of course, mine is only a 2417, so longer trailers may have more problems with signal.
