Default changing tires

I've ordered tires from discount tire. When they install them, will I need to open the TrailManor?

Thanks

It is a WHOLE LOT EASIER if you open it, even partially.

I heard that with a 2.5 lift, or on the newer models you don't need to raise the roof. My camper with a 2 inch lift I have to lift the roof to get the fender skirt off. I have tried doing it with out lifting the roof and can not, but could see with 1/2 or 1 inch more lift it would work.

Hi Joe Mack, welcome to the TM Forum.

If you're having your new tires installed by the tire shop, be sure to have them inspect the brakes and check/grease the bearings. Depending on the age of your TM, it could be way past their last maintenance.

There is good info here on this forum, that takes you step by step on how to perform all the simple maintenance on a TM, as well as the checklist of items to have a reputable shop take care of for you.

Safe travels-

and make sure they balance the tires/wheels before installing. Not all shops do but makes a big difference.
