Default Tire clearance.

Am personally against raising any road vehicle and like being able to see over the TM on the road.

Oddly mine is and April '06 2720 and came with 14s, does not have the lift kit, but did have a sticker calling for overinflation 55 psi.

Have now replaced the 215x75R14LRC with 205x75R15LRD that have .4" less tire clearance wich only leaves about 1 1/2" of clearance on the wheel well.

Am thinking about modifying the wheel well for extra clearance and bought a plastic weel well to play with and may have found something very interesting. Will reply again when I verify it.

BTW can recommend J. D. Sanders in Gainsville for almost immediate response for some parts from the catalog (called order in on 29th & arrived on 31st). Much better than my experience with TM's new partner.

Glad someone can deal with those people, we sure can't. When we were looking to buy our TM couldn't get a response from them on the new or used SL they had at the time. Our new SL was 10k less then a 2009 used one they had.
When we called about a question about the slide all they wanted to know was where we bought ours.

Other folks seem quite happy with them.

a) Did you ask for Hal or Dave ?
b) Same thing happened with my Jeep, looked at '11s but new '12 I bought had 15 miles, trailer towing package, a full warrenty (now have lifetime), and was only a few hundred more. No-braner.
c) For the TM, I wanted a nice 06 or 07 cheap and spent several months looking. Of course Florida is the Happy Hunting Ground for RVs.
d) Have you had better luck with TM's new partner ?
