Corner Hold Downs and Easy Pull

Looking at a 97 TM and it has two problems. The owner said that the corner latches use when towing do not stay latched, so he doesn't use them and others on this forum have the same problem. Can this be fixed?
Also the hooks that they call the EASY PULL in the setup video are worn very bad. The tip of one of the hooks is missing. It looks like an easy repair. Also is this normal wear on a 10 year old TM. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks Leon. I do have another question. Are replacement parts for the unit only available at the factory and dealers. I am not talking about the toilet, stove and frig?

It depends on what you're looking for. So far the factory has been able to supply me with what I've needed, but in some instances I've been told by the factory that I should just go to a local RV supply store and buy there because it would be faster and cost the same.

I had to replace one of our hold down latches, it just wore down to the point where there wasn't enough metal at the end to do its job. It was very easy to fix.
