Default Storage question

Does anyone have any good ideas for what to store in the narrow storage cabinets over the front bunk in our 2619. I have looked at these and thought about what could go in there ie extra paper towels etc, but it is a pain to access them but there must be some no frequently used items that could be stored there they just escape me.

Whoever is sleeping in that bunk might put their wallet and cell phone in them. As for storage, like boobs on a bull.

Nice line, AstroBruce. We actually do find good use for the over bunk storage. We have a 2 year old and 5 year old. All of the 5-year olds clothes for the weekend go in there. They are awkward to get to but not when you say "Hey son, get a shirt and shorts out of the cabinet and get yourself dressed"

Great place to store games and cards. Also store a small lamp which we use in font window for accent lighting. Oh yea stuffed mascot goes in there as well.

I was gonna say, that's where we store the domino's and playing cards and several music cd's as well.

In my 2720, with the front bed, it is a chore to get stuff out of that cabinet, especially if we are using the front bed for storage. In the models with the living room it sure is a lot easier to get to.

I keep the privacy curtains for the front bed in there. Also several Frisbees, extra napkins. A full roll of paper towels will not fit.

When My blind brother in law goes camping with us, he sleeps in the front bunk. He keeps a small bag of ear plugs up there. Allegedly I snore.

We put the bedding for that bed in the cabinets.

We put our heavy duty extension cord there. We don't need it often, but when we do, it is pretty darn handy. We put it between the doors so it doesn't put pressure on the hinges.

Those cabinets really are small but I'll bet that most don't realize their actual function...........

When the trailer is folded up there needs to be something to keep the forward bunk from partially sliding out, into that void that is caused from the front of the trailer jutting out there, on it's own. Those cabinets fit up tight against the bed slide-out and keep in firmly it place. They are as big as they can possibly be and still be able to close the trailer.

They probably could have put some less expensive stops on either side of the window but it certainly would not have been as attractive......handy too. I'm glad that they put the small extra effort into the design .
