Why 14" tires on 3326?

Why does the 3326 come with 14" tires when the next size down comes with 15". If I were buying new, I'd want 15" tires on mine.

I believe that there are 4 tires on the 3326 to handle a little more weight than the 3124.

The way it was explained to us the single axles require the 15s and the dual axels 14 since each 3326 axle is carrying a propotionately lighter weight per axle than the singles.

Makes sense, I guess. I'd have 15's on my 2518 if they would fit. It would look ridiculous but I'd have more piece of mind.
