Is basically a sandwich of TM frame, lift channel, axle. Hardest part is grinding off the welds.

Craigrrr, I assume you are trying to determine if the TM you are looking at has the lift kit? Look under the camper where the axle mounts to the frame. if it directly mounts to the frame you have no lift kit. If you have a section of square tub 2 -3" and about 11-12" long that is between between the axle mounts and the frame. You have a lift kit installed.

The lift kit is made from the same type of tubs that are use for the 2" tub on a hitch.

Craig -

Bill Miller provided the information you need in the TM Technical Library, at

http://www.trailmanorowners.com/foru...ad.php?t=12132

The formal name of the TM Technical Library is Trail Manor Information You Won't Find Anywhere Else. It is always worthwhile checking that forum for the answer to your questions. A lot of collected wisdom and experience resides there.
