Default Towing TM while open?

One more question about towing- can you tow the TM while it's open? I'm not talking across country, just to the nearest dump station.

Suppose you could tow slowly 2-3 mph on level ground with open if you really had to & were very careful about turns, but I wouldn't.

The locking levers are not designed to take potential shifting movements, the beds latches internally on the camper also help take up some of the stresses from high winds and such, but not driving the rig around.
Since most camp grounds I've stayed at are not all level and flat, you will more than likely overstress those fittings and cause some expensive damage.
So I would highly recommend not moving the camper with the ends open.

Re: towing open - At least with my Expedition I could not turn more than a few degrees left or right without the trailer hitting the truck. Add in unlevel ground and it's just a bad, bad idea (for my setup anyway)
