Default Interesting $99 Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

I just saw this on Amazon....it's actually on sale for $99 for a few hours, but ordinarily is $139, a good price for a TPMS, especially one with 4 sensors.

Compared to my TST TPMS, I like the fact that the sensors are internal. While that requires them to be installed when the tire is dismounted, they are out of the way, not subject to theft, and don't have to be removed when refilling or checking the air. Battery life is 5-7 years, probably longer than most people keep their TM, and certainly longer than a change in tires.

I also like the fact that the display appears to be easier to see. Looks like some sort of illuminated LCD vs. a backlit screen. And all 4 tires are displayed at the same time instead of rotating through each tire one at a time.

On the downside, it does not monitor temperature.

Only real downside I see is that there is no ability to set alarm points. If you had an issue you would not know it until you checked gauge.

Good point, Bob. I checked out their website, and didn't see anything about an alarm there either. The display is LED.
