Off Roading

Please excuse my ignorance, I am new to the RV world. I am planning on buying a TM 2027 used and will be pulling with a Jeep Cherokee I-6, 4x4. If I wanted to do some (mild) off-road, such as dirt roads to beaches, into desert areas without roads (flat land) etc. could I receive better results putting 2 inch higher wheels on the trailer. Would that help. Tires could also be off road for the trailer that I would keep in the jeep for off-road experiences.
