Default Radio/CD/Upgraded Speaker Install

Check out the December 2003 edition of Trailer Life magazine for a very detailed description (recommended equipment, installation instructions, pictures, results) of a quality radio/CD/Upgraded speaker installation in a TM. Even includes power switch recommendation to avoid power drain in storage!

We're trying to install a radio in our TM, but are unsure of the proper wires to connect. Does anyone have the Dec 03 issue of TrailerLife that they would share with us? We'd like to see the article on installing the radio.

Please correspond through our email.

Thanks.

I'm not an expert, but the TM's come prewired from the factory for the radios and the speakers are in place, the radio goes above the frig, in our model 2004 3326. Hope this helps some.

We got the radio/CD player installed on Monday. We didn't have a clue as to which wires connected to which, so we called a college kid that we know who loves to tinker with electronic equipment. He came over and figured out how to do it. The job was more complicated than we thought it would be.

This worked out well. We're happy because we now have a radio/cd player in the TM, and our friend is happy because he learned some new stuff when he was installing our equipment. ;D

It just goes to show "It's not what you know; it's who you know."
