Default replace abs pipe with pvc

We have a major leak (crack) in the pipe under our sink. We can not find abs pipe anywhere at local hardware or supply stores. I was going to replace all the pipes under the sink with pvc, is there a schematic or diagram available that would show the configuration for the pipes so that i can have that in hand when i go to the hardware store? We have a 2003 2720.

Most home stores stock standard black ABS pipe and fittings. I had to do some repairs to my sink drain a while back and I bought all the fittings at my local Home Depot store.

Mike is right -- ABS is widely available. But according to this link:

...using PVC should be fine. I have personally seen 4" main sewage lines in new homes, so I clearly it is done as standard procedure in some places. I would certainly use Schedule 40 though -- that's the thicker walled PVC.

I think the problem is that the black pipes under the kitchen sink are 1-1/4" ABS and, at least at my Home Depot, they don't carry that size. The guys at the Camping World service desk looked it up in a catalog and didn't find much. He said try a dealer that mostly sells "pop ups".

Always sumthin!

That's odd... my ABS under my sink is 1 1/2" ABS... and all the fittings were
1 1/2" as well. Were you measuring the inside or outside of the ABS pipe?
