Default Another Bike Rack Question

I have read almost all the posts on bike racks. My problem is not much different then the others. We all seem to have issues with packing space or bikes. I have a receiver on the back of my 2619. It is welded to the frame so I don't think it is factory. I currently use in for my "go box" which contains stuff needed to set up and a jack. It probably weighs 75 lbs. Maybe less. I thought maybe I could just get a receiver adapter and have my 2 bikes and "go box" on the back. After reading everything, that may not be a good idea as it will certainly exceed the 100 lbs.

Here is my question. Has anyone put a receiver on the front of the TV and carried bikes that way? I only saw one post to that affect. My worry is visibility. Or would it make more sense to put the "go box" in the front and bikes in the back. Your thoughts please.

Dave,

Is this the post you are referring to? See post #4

Have never had a visibility issue carrying our bikes on the front receiver.

I has a bumper clamp on bike rack on the front of a full size van that I towed a TT with. It worked well.

With a pick or van this isn't a problem with your TV can't say.
