Default Staying hooked up when opening Trailmanor

If we stopped for a break and wanted to open up the Trailmanor for a short rest, is there enough room between the tow vehicle and the Trainmanor when fully opened without having to unhook?

Yes. The front roof does not extend beyond the hitch when opened. The only time I was not able to open the roof when hitched up to my truck is when I had my motorcycle in the truck bed which required the tailgate to be down. The roof would run into the bikes rear fender. Again, but that was due to the tailgate was extended beyond the hitch ball.

On the flip side, if you tow with a SUV and open the trailer, you won't be able to open the lift gate very far before it hits the trailer shell. Pack the vehicle so you can reach what you need from the back seat.

Thanks for the input. I will be towing with a Highlander and will be looking at the smaller(2417) due to tongue weight.

Yes, we found that not having to unhook the trailer from the TV was great when we stopped for the night. We travel cross country and park overnight at RV friendly Wal-Marts and Sam's club. There is a listing we use from another group to find which one's we can stop at overnight. We also always ask permission and have never had a problem. They always tell us where to park. And it's almost always by the garden department. One thing we did need to do was move the 17' canoe forward on the TV the first time we stopped, but that was about it.

Definitely YES, we have had it up many times while hooked up to our Land Rover.
