Smile Tire Valve Stems

Folks, during our first trip coming home another motorist waved me down, one tire had lost air pressure. WM tire department replaced valve stem. It happens, no problem. Third trip another tire became flat. It happens. Went for the spare which had never been used. Low pressure. Realized that both valve stems had dry rot like first tire repaired. Got them replaced with no problems. Factory valve stems may have very short life span, 1 1/2 years. Check by slightly wiggling stem, no cracking should be seen.
I was in town both times, classic GOOD LUCK. PM, Preventive Maintenance,
your rig throughly.
